Yes! Ebikes are equipped with a high-quality Shimano™ 7 or 6 Speed gearing system, so even if you were to run out of battery you can ride the Electric Bike just like a normal pedal bike.
Electric bikes don’t charge as you go, but if you charge the bike after each use it will last around 80km (50 miles) on average, so you don’t have to worry about the battery running out. The duration can also be lengthened by using different output modes to increase the distance; the less assistance, the longer the bike battery will last.
Any electric bike is supplied with its own Lithium-Ion charger, this charger plugs into any household powerpoint and then connects to your battery charging port. It takes approximately 4 hrs to fully charge the battery.
No, you don’t need a license to ride an ebike in the UK or the EU.
Our electric vehicles are built to the highest standards. The production uses state-of-the-art machinery and processes and our quality control team constantly inspects every product in our line down to the smallest details.
We offer a 1 year manufactures warranty on the frame and forks and 1 year on the electronic components. Water damage and intentional misuse OR normal wear and tear are NEVER covered under our warranty.
Currently, any spare part can be obtained by contacting our technical support
Despite the uniqueness of our frames and components, our electric bikes are designed to be easy to maintain, with the highest possible standardization. Any local bike shop will have everything they need to make changes and replace any parts of the ebike.
Brushless DC motors basically require very low maintenance as they have very few moving parts and low internal friction. If we add to this the fact that the manufacturer has been producing them for years, testing them for hundreds of thousands of kilometres, they do not require any specific maintenance but a little attention to avoid shocks, impacts, corrosive environments, etc.
If it’s a small puncture in the tread- duct tape applied inside the tyre works well. If it’s a cut in the sidewall (weaker part of tyre casing) or a cut big enough for the tube to bulge into (and eventually pop!), safest to replace the tyre.
Changing electric bike tyres is as easy as changing those on a normal bicycle but the rear wheel will require a little more attention to avoid damaging the hub motor cables. However, carefully it is as simple as any bicycle wheel.
We allow returns within 14 days if the products remain intact in the original packaging (unused and unopened in the original box), they can be returned for a full refund. For more information read our Terms of Sale
No. For safety reasons, any battery with a capacity greater than 99Wh cannot be carried on board an aircraft.
We accept the most well-known payment methods:
Mastercard, VISA, VISA Debit, VISA Electron, Maestro, American Express (AMEX), Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA wire bank transfer, ClearPay and Klarna.
You also have the option to use your credit card and pay up to a maximum of 4 monthly instalments, using Klarna or ClearPay as a payment option.
The electric bicycle works like a normal bike only with the addition of the electric motor, it helps you (assists) in pedalling or if you want to pedal without assistance you can use it traditionally by disconnecting the aid of the motor with a simple click of a button.
No, it must be pedalling, pedaling assistance takes place through sensors usually placed on the pedals that evaluate the type of help to be given to the cyclist with a mechanical or electronic system.
It is true, that thieves have targeted electric bikes in recent times, but there are insurances for compensation in cases of theft (we strongly recommend it), or electronic security systems such as our anti-theft system able to warn you of any movement of the bike, without forgetting the bike lock.
Since electric bicycles use rechargeable batteries instead of fossil fuels, they are more efficient and environmentally friendly. Costing only 7p per full charge; to date, they are the cheapest motor vehicle for mobility.
On electric bicycles with brushless motors like ours, you can pedal, with the engine off, like on a normal bicycle. If the motor is of the traditional type, the friction makes pedalling too difficult.
Your bike will arrive 99% assembled and will be delivered in one of our specially designed boxes. Someone needs to be available to sign for the parcel. The box is rather large, our courier will help you carry it in, but they may not enter the property and carry it upstairs for example.
To fit the eBikes into our special boxes we have to turn the handlebars 90 degrees and remove the pedals. These are simple to re-fit once you have unpacked your bike. If you require assistance please email us and we will be happy to help.
The restrictions that apply to normal bikes on public transport also apply to ebikes. These vary from region to region, as well as between different transport operators. Therefore, it’s wise to check before you travel!
Ultra fun! Our electric bikes are smooth and easy to ride; riding on flat ground feels like riding gently downhill, and climbing hills is easy. As the motor helps with acceleration, ST3IKE ebikes are well suited to riding in stop-start city traffic; you’ll always feel safe and in control since the motor assistance stops as soon as you stop pedalling or when you pull on the brakes.
Yes, we do offer financing on our products. We work with Klarna and ClearPay which receives authorization on the user’s credit card and progressively reduces it monthly, as the instalments are debited.
